More on CineVegas

We're so thrilled to be part of CineVegas--it's the perfect forum to introduce the film to the world. There is a great interview on greencine.com from about 4 years ago with Trevor Groth, who (aside from being a senior programmer at Sundance) was brought in to program CineVegas. Check it out--it gives some great perspectives on the festival, as well as Sundance.

Also, this is from the press release yesterday (clipped from indiewire.com)
Over the past ten years, CineVegas has evolved into the festival we have always wanted it to be: an exhilarating, one-of-a-kind experience for film lovers and an intimate, supportive environment for innovative films and filmmakers, as well as a dynamic launching place for studio releases," commented Artistic Director Trevor Groth in a statement. "This year's program continues our history of championing films that take risks, challenge audiences and push the artistic limits of filmmaking. We are also excited to introduce a documentary competition for films that have the same outlaw spirit as the features we show.

Ryan? Outlaw Spirit? Indeed!

I was just sent a link to the film trailer and it seems great!

Good luck with your endeavors...it looks like you've done something incredible.

Just read the review on the SilverDocs festival page and it's very complimentary.

Totally psyched to be able to see what you two pulled together for the final product when it shows here in DC.

Matt, we'll be in DC for the screenings--let's hook up when we're there.
